"I made two versions because I couldn't decide which one to stick with." |
I couldn't decide whether I wanted the final image to have a background like SDink's newest works, or to be on a simple background as usual. Most seemed to prefer the plain background with the fades to white like my previous style derived from SDink's previous style. I think a lot more could have been done as a background overall; a big rocky mountain (or grey blob) was a bit... unimaginative of me....

"Drawn to sketchbook, scanned, and coloured using Photoshop CS3." |
This was supposed to be getting closer to Falcoon's art style, but only in the way that the lighting worked. Everything else about the image was my own style / mess. It was not designed to look like any particular style at the time, it only was when I scanned it and thought I'd try out this new rim-light technique to make the image appear more 3D.

Me - ...."I have an Art Exhibition on 13th June 2008!"....
I got 100% on my Art & Design GCSE, and as a result, got offered to put on my very own art exhibition in my home town, which of course I did, and was a fun experience to have.
"Your artwork is great :D Nice to see you done up the retro characters ^_^"
